Today on RÚV English Radio, the international choir in residence this week in Iceland.
Coro Mundi is an international choir, who are performing in Langholtskirkja, Skálholtsdómkirkja, and Harpa, across three concerts this week. (https://tix.is/en/event/19820/coro-mundi)
They'll feature the world premiere of Sigurður Sævarsson's "Sicut Cervus" and the Icelandic premiere of "Sacred Place" by American composer Alex Berko. Collaborating on that piece will be violinist Una Sveinbjarnardóttir and cellist Júlía Mogensen.
Darren met with Coro Mundi's music director, Stephen Kushner, and choristers Kirsten Malik, Alex Rappaport, and Michael Roberts, at Harpa, earlier today.
