Today on RÚV English Radio, recognition for the projects which make the capital even more beautiful.
Nominations are now open (at [email protected]) for buildings and plots that deserve a beautification award this year. Awards (https://www.ruv.is/english/2025-06-13-nominations-invited-for-beautification-awards-446017) have been presented annually since 1968 for beautiful houses and plots in Reykjavík, often in connection with the city’s anniversary, or in the autumn.
