Episode 934 - DISASSOCIATED ME: PREMIERE AT REYKJAVÍK INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Today on RÚV English Radio, the film coming to the Reykjavík International Film Festival, inspired by Icelandic editor Elísabet Ronaldsdóttir, who found herself unexpectedly in front of the camera.

Janaé Rachel Ballot's "Disassociated Me" sees the director encouraged by her friend Elísabet Ronaldsdóttir, to make a film about her chaotic past. Without a script, she casts actors, location scouts, relives childhood trauma until she is struck by a car mid-production.

The film premieres at RIFF (https://riff.is/en/tickets/) on September 26 at 1.15pm.

Darren spoke to Janaé about the film, and its premiere in Iceland.
